Days started at 5AM on the river by 7:30AM, lunch about 11:30 AM (always in the shade!), camp by about 4-5 PM, usually asleep before 10 PM. Nights were hot becoming mild by morning.
Weather was sunny and hot - a few clouds - upstream winds - typical Colorado River June weather.
Water was clear - not muddy - blue and cold around 46-54 degrees. Little Colorado was Turquoise Blue, as was Havasu. Side creeks and falls were clear.
Menu:
Breakfasts: Cereal, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, muffins, bagels, and always juice and fresh fruit.
Lunches: 2-3 types of meat or spread (turkey, bacon, chicken, roast beef, steak, ham, tuna salad, chicken salad) chips, several types of bread, several types of spread (mustard, mayo, miricle whip, spread, horseradish) fresh lettuce, tomato, olives, sprouts, pickles, cookies, dried fruit and nuts
Hors d'houvres: - cheese, crackers, salsa and creamed cheese, oysters, etc.
Snacks: Fruit, nuts, candy, cookies
Dinner: Always fresh salad, dressings, dessert, 2 vegetables plus:
Side Hikes - Every day - some short, some longer
Best: Thunder River/Tapeats creek
Funnest Rapid (by vote):

Animals and Wildlife:
Mountain Goat, Bighorn Sheep, Deer, Elk, Rattlesnake, Humingbirds, Turkey Buzzards, Scorpion, Ants (nasty), Fish (trout, carp), Frogs, Crows (?), Swallows, and more....
Take-out Mile 182.5
Helicopter Ride to Bar 10 Ranch, Small Plane (twin engine) back to Cliff Dweller or Las Vegas.
